Whether you’re travelling early or catching a late flight, make a stopover in The Lounge. The Lounge offers a delicious amount of choice with a selection of premium beverages and complimentary gourmet snacks around the clock. We’ve scaled the country to source some of your favourite quality brands – as well as a few new ones.

The morning menu includes a continental breakfast offering with gourmet natural muesli, fruit, yoghurt, breads, jams and even coco pops!

The midday menu features a selection of fresh salad ingredients, meat and breads for a DIY sandwich bar.

The evening menu offers you a chance to grab a great Australian wine or beer and accompany it with a selection of antipasto items, crackers and breads. Gourmet hot soup and crusty bread rolls are also available for a light meal.

Barista coffee, organic fair-trade tea, hot chocolate and your choice of gourmet sweet snacks including biscotti and nougat are available all day along with the added service you’ve come to know and want with Virgin Blue.

After 11am daily a selection of beers and self service wines are served with savoury snacks such as spicy mixed crackers, soya crisps and Kettle chips.

We’ll always have something delicious waiting for you at The Lounge and best of all - it’s complimentary.

Dedicated Check-in

The Lounge offers dedicated check-in to all members and non-members travelling with cabin baggage only. You can avoid the queue and head straight to The Lounge for a friendly face to face check-in service.

Please ensure you check-in at least 30 minutes before departure.

Self Check-in

If you prefer the convenience of self check-in Virgin Blue offers the quick and easy services of web check-in and kiosk check-in. If you have cabin baggage only you can use our kiosk check-in. Simply locate the kiosk inside The Lounge foyer, follow the prompts on screen and collect your boarding pass.

Web check-in is an Australian first that lets you check yourself in, with or without bags from your home or office over the internet up to 24 hours before your flight departure. Simply visit www.virginblue.com.au/webcheckin.

Flight Announcements

The Lounge offers conveniently located flight information display screens. Boarding announcements are also made by our friendly staff in each location.

Bathroom Facilities

Shower facilities are available in The Lounge. Towels are provided complimentary and are available from reception staff.

Baby change and disabled toilet facilities are also available.
