You can now pre-reserve an extra roomy over-wing exit row seat on Virgin Blue Boeing 737 and Embraer E190 Aircraft, Row 1ABC and the over-wing exit on Pacific Blue and Polynesian Blue Boeing 737 Aircraft, for a small additional charge.

The 'Blue Zone' seating offers you the equivalent of a 39 inch (99 cm) seat pitch - that means plenty of room to make yourself comfortable.

It's our way of giving you the choice of something a little extra, over and above our regular seats - which by the way, have an average seat pitch of 31inches, which is not to be sneezed at! But if you'd love a little bit extra, please step into the Blue Zone!

How does it work? By simply paying an extra AUD/NZD$30 / FJD$40 / WST$60 / TOP$50 (in applicable booking currency) for each one way sector or Virgin Blue domestic formal connection and booking via our Guest Contact Centre you can reserve your Blue Zone seat (subject to availability and Virgin Blue, Pacific Blue and Polynesian Blue safety requirements*). 

Blue Zone does not apply to Premium Economy (Virgin Blue only) as this fare already includes extra personal space (and more)!
