Spring Racing Carnival

The Melbourne Cup Carnival is’ the celebration that stops a nation™’, and is an unparalleled celebration of racing, style, fashion and glamour. For one week in Spring, fabulous Flemington becomes the focus of the nation’s corporate, social and equine activity.  

The Carnival is made up of four fabulous days of racing and includes AAMI Victoria Derby Day, Emirates Melbourne Cup Day, Crown Oaks Day and Emirates Stakes Day.  The Melbourne Cup Carnival and its jewel in the crown – the Emirates Melbourne Cup in its 149th year, captures the nation’s imagination like no other annual sporting event.
