Like it’s never been done before. To celebrate Melbourne Food and Wine Festival, Blue Holidays, the holiday program of Virgin Blue, and Tourism Victoria are serving up an incredible day trip for a lavish lunch date in Melbourne.
Fly Virgin Blue to Melbourne for the day for an exclusive lunch at The Press Club Restaurant where your taste buds will embark on a delicious journey through a three-course menu designed by culinary maestro George Calombaris.
And the treats don’t end with dessert. You will be joined at The Press Club by Masterchef judge Matt Preston. You will then spend the afternoon enjoying one of the festival’s highlight events - Theatre of Ideas. There you will catch up with all the latest trends in the world of gastronomy and be given rare tantalising insight into two of the world’s most controversial chefs: Andoni Luis Aduriz and Massimo Bottura. Luciano Pavarotti once said, “One of the very nicest things about life is the way we must regularly stop whatever it is we are doing and devote our attention to eating.”
