At Virgin Blue we want you to have a good time. We're constantly looking at ways to improve our On-Time Performance so we can keep you punctual, time and time again. Compare us to the competition and you will find we are one of the best on time performers in the world. In the meantime, we will continue to do our best to ensure you arrive on time, every time.

At Virgin Blue we measure our on-time performance as all flights that depart within 15 minutes of their stated departure time. We make no exception for bad weather, air traffic control, delays from suppliers, unscheduled maintenance, consequences of previous delays or anything else for that matter - for us on-time means on-time... no exceptions. All figures are based on pilot log books and are internally audited. We have worked hard with Department of Transport and Regional Services and other stakeholders to agree on set of rules for reporting on time performance data and are complying with these. Going forward we commit to providing all our internally audited monthly on-time performance results on www.virginblue.com.au. Furthermore we have asked the Department of Transport to conduct regular independent audits of all airlines data so that the integrity of this important report is maintained.
